What happens if a dealer refuses to do business with a consultant?
Dealers understand that consultants are an asset to them. Consultants bring business to their stores without having to spend money on advertising. There has never been a dealer that refused to allow one of our consultants to do business with their establishment.
How do I take delivery of my new car?
The client goes to the dealer once the consultant has negotiated the final price. At that point, paperwork is signed and delivery takes place.
What happens if the client wants to finance their new vehicle?
Financing is obtained by several methods, but ALWAYS at the option of the client. The Finance Manager at the dealer will make arrangements. The other way is for the client to seek outside financing by using Credit Unions or banks recommended by the consultant.
What if I want to trade my "old" car in?
The trade-in is handled at the dealer as a seperate part of the deal. This process is very simple and is aided by the consultant educating the client on the estimated value of their used vehicle.
What is the difference between an Auto Broker and an Auto Consultant?
Auto Brokers negotiate the price of a vehicle, take the title of the new vehicle, and mark it up for resale to the consumer. This practice is unlawful in most states in the U.S. This way of doing business is frowned upon by the dealer associations and the manufacturers because the broker is taking business from the dealer and then selling his inventory without a dealer's license. Auto Consultants advise consumers regarding their new vehicle purchase. Each client is provided with valuable information to make their purchase a more educated one. Auto Consultants bring dealers business that would not necessarily be obtained on their own. Dealers recognize the contributions to sales that our business brings them.
